Gulf Power estimates essentially all customers in Santa Rosa County will have their power turned back on by midnight Sunday, but the wait will be a little longer for some of the hardest-hit areas of Escambia County as Hurricane Sally recovery continues.
Customers south of Kingsfield Road, including Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key and Innerarity Point, are estimated to have their power restored by midnight Tuesday.
Those north of Kingsfield Road are expected to have their power back by midnight Monday. Customers in Century are estimated to be restored by midnight Sunday.
As of 8:15 a.m. Sunday, 44,200 customers in Escambia County and 1,230 customers in Santa Rosa County were still without power. Power had been restored to 108,750 homes in Escambia County and 72,970 homes in Santa Rosa County.
Gulf Power is still on track to have power restored to about 95% who are able to accept service by Tuesday.
Some of the hardest-hit areas are expected to take longer to essentially restore due to damage, ground conditions and other factors.
If power is restored in your neighborhood and you still do not have power, first check your breakers. If this is not the issue, report your outage on the Gulf Power app or website or call 1-800-GUPOWER (1-800-487-6937).
