'Re-Employ EscaRosa Campaign' offers virtual job fairs, professional development next month

Residents who are unemployed in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties will be able to look for work at a series of virtual job fairs next month.

The Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce partnered with other related agencies to plan a series of job fairs as part of the "Re-Employ EscaRosa Campaign."

The campaign includes both virtual job fairs, with a few in-person locations for those who may not the ability to access the internet, as well as virtual professional development over the next month. 

CareerScource Escarosa will be one of the in-person locations for those who need it, and chamber staff are working to identify more locations.

The job fair schedule is:

• Sept. 3: Virtual job fair 
• Sept. 10: Virtual job fair
• Sept. 17: Santa Rosa County virtual job fair
• Sept. 24: Virtual job fair

Registration for both job seekers and employers for the Sept. 3 job fair is now open. Those interested can go to pensacolachamber.com. 

Links to register for the remaining three job fairs will be publish by the end of the week.

Other partners include FloridaWest Economic Development Alliance, CareerSource Escarosa, the Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce and the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce.
